So nice to have a dry day to fettle stuff outside. Finally got the blown
driveshaft to gearbox coupling assembly off the Guzzi trike and this I'll
TIG up tomorrow at work. Thought I'd fire it up after being idel since last
October. Stuck a pair of jumpleads on the knackered battery and it fired up
first crank of the engine. Excellent. Back on the road on that next week
    then.
Then got stuck into the new trike project (SO's "girlie trike"!) donor bike,
the '87 K100RS I got from Burnt. It all came apart very nicely, even the
downpipes, which was a big surprise. No snapped studs, no stripped threads
anywhere. I *like* working on BMWs. Got the swinging arm out and all of the
back end stripped and now it's all ready for lining up the axle/subframe.
Now I can get stuck into the fabrication.
Even got a few hours trail riding in today which was a good crack in the
sunny weather. With all the gear on, you sweat like a rapist after a very
short time slogging through the mud over the 'Plains'. God I'm a lot less
    fit than last year.
Knackered and happy. Cider time :>)

    Have. <hic>
Thatchers Vintage oak mtured cider. 750ml bottles too, so people think it's
a wine bottle. Uttterly gorgeous. the 7.4ABV does nothing to harm it either.
