Well, it was certainly worth the wait! The riding style is of course a
bit different to what I'm used to, but it doesn't take much adjust. I
wasn't sure how I'd find the heel-toe changes, but it actually suits the
bike quite nicely, and certainly smooths things out a bit. The engine
size is a bit more than double that of the CBR, but even so this thing
has got some serious go, as I already discovered once when I
accidentally applied the throttle a bit harder than intended for about
half a second - the CBR certainly never threw me backwards with quite so
much force! :-D I've got a sissybar and pillion backrest on the way,
which should help ensure I don't lose my wife off the back of it, but
after this afternoon's riding I'm thinking a screen would be a very good
addition - not needed around town, but the wind becomes a bit of an
issue over 90, not seriously, but enough to appreciate the absence.

All in all, it's one hell of a bike! Especially for money. Who the hell
would buy something like a Harley, when you can get this instead and
half twice the bike for half the price??? Yep, I'm one very happy little
    vegemite indeed! :)

    Congrats Damian!
It won't take long before you start saying "I don't know why ALL bikes don't
    have heel-toe shifters".....

lol, dunno about that. It suits cruisers very well, as it happens, not
so sure how you'd even set it up for a sportsbike - or why you'd want
    to! :-S

It could do with a tacho tho.

I saw a Ducati 996 with one the other day...

well it was a squid going up the gears with the back of his white
    running shoes
