I've got the same disposition and exacerbated by the diabetic regime. I
take a small tablet each night, atorvastatin or the like, Bob's your
    cross dressing Auntie.
*Apparently* it could cause impotence so be warned. You may only be able
    to **** like a beast 3 or 4 times a morning.

I first had mine checked after my dad had a stroke about ten years ago
    - it was 8.2. I got it down to 6.7 by cutting down on the curries &
pizzas, but the bastard stuff won't go any lower than that no matter
what I do. I see rat poison in my future.
    Indeed.

8.2? ****, that reminds me of the NTNOCN sketch[1]

I guess I shouldn't worry too much about 5.3 (which is apparently
under the national male average of 5.5). Just pay slightly more
    attention to what I eat.

[1] Doctor: "Well, Mr Jones, we've had the results back from the
laboratory, and you have the highest level of cholesterol they've ever
seen. When you die, would you consider leaving your body to me?
    Mr Jones: "For medical research?"
Doctor: "No, I want to hang you in the garden so the bluetits can peck
    at you".

If you can't ride a bike when dead, at least you'll be able to make
    "broom broom" noises.

Er, it's the garish AGV. Ta.

Have you ever considered how much time you get in the company of
the grim reaper? There are a couple of deaths each second - hardly
enough time for the personal touch, ever mind a quick review of your
life and sins. Could Grim Reaper inc. be a franchise with the original
    just doing management and training?

I should too - my mother was also a high BP merchant - with angina as

I do have a tin of oily fish for brekky each morning as my token 'do

Aye, I'm knocking back a box of red atm on the grounds that it prevents,
er, hearts, or lungs, or somethingorother.

Beyond that, I just stick to squandering what's left of my youth. They
say you don't know what you've got til its gone, but now it's already
going I'm sticking to my guns.

[1] Sainos own-brand Cotes du Rhone, surprisingly palatable at about
9 quid for three litres [2]
[2] Unlike their Vin Rouge de France, which is on a par with DOT4
    for imbibability.

You might be all surprised to learn that by simply giving up smoking
