Last year at the NABD rally I managed to fry the clutch on the trike to a
point where it wouldn't disengage at all. Made for a very interesting trip
back from Charlbury to Melksham with 5 of us on board, towing a well loaded
    trailer.
Been putting this 'orrible job offf for months but I finally plucked up the
courage to tackle it today. There' nothing complicated about this job at
all, but it is just the fact that bloody *everything* has to come off the
trike to get to the clutch. I do mean everything.
Took ~4hrs to get to the engnie/box assy. got the box off and the clutch
stripped . A Guzzi has 2 car type dry clutches back to back with an
intermediate plate between. The first friction plate was fine considering
it's done ~145k miles, but Oh Dearie Me, the second one seemed to have lost
much of the friction matl. The rest was cracked to bits with bits of rivet
all over the shop. Totally mullered.
Fortunately I had a good spare clutch in the shed. All went back together
nicely in only 4 hrs too. Quick blat round the block and all is well again.
All set now for the rally season. Excellent.

Nice work. That's one of those jobs I start then leave the bike in
    bits for months :/
