Good looking Nordwest on Ebay. Mr Wilson will attest to the grin factor
    they can supply.

Starter sprag clutch not functioning. I can tell you how to get it
    working again cheaply.

Indeed. The sprag clutch problem might put the non-cognoscenti off, but
with a bit of care and a couple of oil seal springs they can often be
fixed - Oops I've given the secret away now. I wouldn't start it until
it had a new cam belt though after standing unused for three years.

Bit of a gamble, isn't it? - as you won't be able to hear it run before
    buying.

True. Almost as much of a gamble as starting it with a cold, hard,
kinked belt. Still I suppose the seller could agree to a buyer helping
to bump start it at his risk before they part with the cash. They
certainly would need help and there's no easy way then to turn the motor
over gently on the starter first to try and ease the belt round the
pinions a few times before it fires. Other than pushing it round with
    the plug out possibly.

Still, body panels in that state are going to be worth a mint anyway.
Might be worth a punt if it doesn't go too high and break it if the
engine's fubar. Doubtful at that mileage, unless the belt has broken
    already.

    What's a decent price then?

Hmm, I sold my nothing like so presentable black/pink Nordwest with the
tuned big bore 604cc motor for £800ish. That was running well but had a
pressurising cooling system (sold with an original barrel and piston
which would cure that) and without an MoT, but requiring very little
work to get one. Mr Wilson's commanded a much lower price - but without
the tasty Arrows stainless silencer it arrived at my place with ;)

As SteveH points out though, we only have the sellers word for it that
it runs OK. I can see it possibly making as much as £1000 if it can be
*safely* started and everything works as it should otherwise. Some
blighter will probably snap it up to nick the Brembo calipers.

Uncle Bob Wright can still usually supply most parts needed to keep one
    running.

My guess is £800 - £1,000. 6 bidders already and it's only been on a few
hours? Someone could be lucky and snap it up for less - it ends at a
    stupid time.

Predominantly black actually. The photo links are still hanging around
somewhere probably. Didn't seem to put Champ off riding it at Prescott.
    Oh hang on...

Not my cup of tea , but that was a very strange place to perch the
