Good thinking. I've still got that weekend free, and I'm planning a
mini-Euro bimble, or a UK bimble, depending on weather. Or perhaps
    just a mini-non-motorway bimble.

Shhhhh, everyone knows there is no clique!

Web site suggests €34 par personne en chambre simple, btw, assuming
    it's the group tariff.

It's not. That wasn't available to a small group. But not a lot more.

Ah. In that case, somewhere between €40 and €55, depending. Which ain't
bad really. The place certainly looks nice enough.

It was a direct contemporary ('69-73) of Dad's Army, and I know which
    one I'd prefer to watch.

Of course, you could sit back and enjoy:

"Nearest and Dearest"; "Love thy Neighbour" or "Please Sir!", instead.

If the latter hadn't finished two years before I was born, I know which
one I'd have preferred to watch.

yes, staying with Mon. she's not been in Basel so much this last year,
as she got a posh job in France.

btw, i was most upset to see that my favourite internet cafe (the Linux
Cafe in Basel) has closed due to going broke.
