he has been involved in an accident and is currently in hospital.
Judith does not expect him to be in the office for "some time". I have
no more details at present, but will let you know when I do."

I've just spoken to Chris (the boss) and he knows nothing more than
posted above. he received it by email so doesn't know if it happened
on the way to work or at home.

He's tried calling Jude at home but surprisingly enough got no answer.
her email auto reply just says I'm out of the office.
