  4. Dunno why, but I'm crying laughing, reading this. It's the sound
    effects, I reckon. :))))

  5. When I first read it I thought the sound effects were coming from the
bedroom - that sort of made my brain go a bit weird for a moment or
    three.

Well, they're in the hallway actually.
    I think that's extremely unlikely.
heh, bad Bonwick. The LZ was miles away.

Yeah sounds more like a lowside, but then Highside sounds so much more
    accomplished.
Probably locked up the front on the diesel.

I knew exactly where he landed because he told me and I've been to
that spot myself - on foot.

Your info is either very out-of-date or you were misinformed. I'm 99%
that my normal health insurance would cover it anyway, but more
importantly, all Swiss employers have to have a statutory accident
insurance for all employees. I was on my way to work at the time,
which would mean I was covered.

As it happens, many employers, including mine, have much more that the
statutory minimum cover, so I'm actually covered for any accident, no
matter how caused, anywhere in the world. And that includes all drugs
    and follow-up treatments as well.

So no worries on that score.

Actually, we don't make much in the way of strong painkillers. But
    I've got plenty anyway, thanks

Good to see the level of "humour" hasn't improved in my short absence.
    Me too mate, me too.

I reckon that I hit the crash barrier, upside down, at a speed
exceeding 50mph, possibly a lot more, as the bike had stoppied and
thrown me over the top, transferring all its momentum into me. So the
fact that I survived is quite surprising, let alone the fact that I
could get up and walk around afterwards, at least until the pain
    became too much to bear.

That must be why Suzukis were known as slingshots.
I think you need to do some more calculations about this
conservation of momentum business, but then you will have
lots of spare time while convalescing.
