Don't know the fella myself, but I do know people on the orthapedics rotation at Queens and I know that they take helicopter admissions there. Still, GWS and all that.

Oh ******. Ouch. Add my best wishes, GWS, etc. Oh, and tell him he's a clumsy ****. Do let us know, ta.
I was going to post that he was only keeping up with Champ and his Mont Blanc helicopter cheats but I decided that given where grey leader is currently riding his bike it might be tempting fate. I spoke to Auntie Janice (1) tonight and both Champ and Keef had a good practice session. Apparently Champ is into the 109mph laps and Keef not far behind. As long as they finish with an improvement in previous bests then they should both be well chuffed. (1) The more sociable of us who've been to the island will have met Janice. She seemed quite chirpy and relieved to be driving back to Ramsey with bikes and riders intact.
Tell him to hold out for an anodised gold halo and frame instead of the common chrome one oh, and pass on a GWS from me please
Leaving aside the work reference, accident injuries are not covered by Swiss health insurance (which perhaps is why my doc wanted to blame my radiating back pain and paralytic left arm on osteoarthritis rather than the aftereffects of my Wancouver racing accident). You have to take out separate accident insurance (which was only a few CHF/mo (6?) IIRC). -- Ivan Reid, Electronic & Computer Engineering, ___ CMS Collaboration, Brunel University. SOP in Switzerland for anything remotely serious. Their roads tend to clog up. I lived near a major hospital in Zürich for three months one summer and the choppers were continually overhead (mountain-climbing season...). Any serious road accident will always have a chopper in attendance. -- Ivan Reid, Electronic & Computer Engineering, ___ CMS Collaboration, Brunel University.
