    If you're buying it for decoration, then by all means go right ahead.

    If you're buying it for safety, then stay away. Helmets are designed to be a
    one shot deal and there is a limited shelf life for them (depending on the
    environment they are kept in). Too many unknowns to trust one's head with
    used safety devices.
