Advice on blades please?

    Hello Gods (and esses) of motorcycling (get them on your side, good
    call.)

    1996, 900RR-T (that means little holes in the nose fairing, 16 inch
    front, carbs). What's the deal? Good? Bad? Nuts? Civil? Heard
    (from someone selling a '97 RR-V) that they can leap out of gear -
    true? Was there a recall?

    All advice welcome. Even the accurate kind.
