Arkansas named 4 Bridges around the state, that are built very similar
to the one that Collaped, in Minneapolis, wed evening.

The one that fell straight down, was mainly Iron works...but the photo
of the one beside it, was mainly concrete....ya' know Iron can bend thru
the many years of all that traffic, and those dern 18Wheelers.

But concrete stands there thru it all!

To be honest, those ‘‘over and under and up and down’’ bridges,
in Dallas make this old country boy nervous....especially on a
    motorcycle. (just me)

Don't cha just feel sorry for the bridges around Detroit having to
    hold those 42 wheelers?

I guess I still need a picture of those trucks with training wheels up
    there!

Didn't see it happen, but yes.

That highway is the main artery from Canada to Mexico through the
center of the US. Having that bridge down is causing quite a mess. The
time before this week that I saw it and drove on it, it was a sheet of
ice with high temps in the -0F stages. The river was solid enough you
could easily drive across without a bridge and never get nervous about
    getting wet.

    ---------the main artery to Mexico.....?...huh........man that's a
long way south, for that to be a problem...I imagine the local traffic
folks, is the main worry or problem.....bjay-----.

Nope, the main worry/problem is the interstate traffic. The local
traffic has all sorts of other methods to get through/between the twin
    cities.
