Africa run possible withdrawal

  1. While I remember and before I retire.

The suggestion for dates was between BOSM and TOG tour.

Due to me stopping prevaricating and finally going back to University
the first available holiday I have is the two weeks starting 19th
June. If you go without me I shall bravely wave you off. That's if I
actually notice you are going as newsgroup time will shortly be
    curtailed.

Don't do anything silly while I'm gone. Unless you get pictures.

The plan was for the first two weeks of May. That's starting to look
    increasingly unlikely for me too.
I'd better start keeping a video diary, then.

May I suggest an Autumn run? I can make that (probably).

She's only a fucking student and can bunk off lectures.

Is someone going to do some semi-serious costings?

To do the job I'm going to need some high octane gasoline and nearly 12
litres of two stroke [1] ... My Lords!

[1] It's probably worth noting I failed my maths O level first
    time round.

Since the Frankfurt run at least. I predict sometime in 2008 and it'll be
down to two or three runners.

Heh, why do I have this vision of a Z200 piloted by a solitary monotreme
slowly winding its way up an alpine pass...

    - "Grossenkrautpass"? Where the hell is "El port de la Bonaigua" and
then down to where that Domenec is waiting in southern Pyrenees?

If not possible in spring I'd definitely avoid summer months.

Shh. Move further down the riverbank will yer.

Hint: I cried off a couple of months back as the run would take too
long. I wanted to be out and back in a week (or 1 week plus 2 weekends)
    .....

    Cheers

    Paul.

Typical bloody EKS; "I can't come down the pub as it'll cost me £20k in
lost earnings and it's not tax deductible unless I buy all the drinks
and put it down to entertaining but I don't want to buy a drink for
    everyone..."
