  1. Today down at me local bike shop buying a new helmet for the misses (Zeus
flip front) I noticed a AGV Air flow jacket for 200 bucks, I said wow thats
cheep they were 400ish last time I checked, then he showed me the Rjay Super
Vent for $148 sheeze thems are cheep..

got the AGV one for 180 at another shop for the misses because that shop the
guy grunted at me when I asked if he could make it cheaper for the helmet
    and jacket...

But what happened to the prices of these things?

and do they work both to cool you down and when your down..

    cheers

I got the AGVSport Air Flow the other week too.
Definitely much cooler than the DriRider Extreme with the lining out and I'm
sure more protection than a t-shirt. I haven't tested the sliding down the
    road part though.

    an air flow jacket.

    Cheers

Yes, I got the MotoDry for $250 - armour, removable liner (for serious
waterproofing). I wore it on the WA trip, and actually felt cold some of
the time! Even without the liner the waterproofing is acceptable. Rode
for 10km through a storm near Norseman without getting any serious water
    inside.

The other thing I noticed, is that the sizes are better. I take an XXL
in a winter jacket in most brands, but last year could not fit into an
XXXXL! They seemed to think that beer guts are a seasonal item.

  7. Well the actual fabric wouldn't be that great, but its still cordura and has
a decent amount of armour in it, that be protecting you when you hit the
ground.. I noticed the agv one has a really big back protector, almost the
    size of the back..
