  4. I put that down to it just being a Timo Car. Until it happened to my
    Nissan as well.

Not soggy - if you use a pizza stone, that is.

Radio waves have some effect on organic matter shirly. Just very little at
normal energy levels. You wouldn't want to stand beside a Mw class
    transmitter though!

Are you saying that your microwave fails to heat pizzas?

Apparently this is a major problem with the newer Harley's and it seems to
be the telephonic juice spreading itself into the alarm wiring and key fob.
Either way, the cure is to roll/push the bike further away from said mast
    and give it another try.

Well, a frozen pizza baked/reheated in a proper oven is much more edible
than a microwave treated one. It's all relevant, particularly when you're a
student and have to watch your budget. I must have had at least a couple of
thousand frozen pizzas as a student; cheap, quick, easy and no need to wash
up more than a knife afterwards. The fact that my cholesterol's high despite
my low weight is a completely different issue.

I always used the cardboard box it came in. Absorbs moisture well enough to
leave a crispy base and it just about withstands 15-20 minutes in the oven
so it starts to smell of burnt inks in order to alert you if you forget
    yourself.

    Damn typos...I meant *proper oven*

I presume it could if I actually *did* put a pizza in it and turned the
knobs, but yes, in a way my microwave does not heat pizzas :)

Sucking his keyboard for inspiration, AW typed:
Lots of well documented cases when LR brought out the P38 Rangie, of brand
new cars failing to unlock/disarm/start when parked at airports. Also
numerous cases to my knowledge of RRs draining the battery overnight when
parked near to an RF source - the BECM which should go to sleep after 5
minutes or so is constantly woken up and goes through its thing over and
over. Apparently, Oregon Scientific weather stations can do this too - the
first thing to eliminate if there is a persistent flat battery problem. So
I am not at all surprised that radiation from a powerful TV mast can do
    this.

  16. The early warning radar 10 miles south of Cromer went through a phase of
shutting down car ECUs. The local garage would come out tow the cars
away then reset the ECU and off they would go.

It was reported in the press etc if you google for it.

  18. It's never happened to me either.

Good fish and chip shop in Mundesley (or is it Trimingham).

I often dive off a RIB from the slip way behind the Ingleside Hotel.

  19. Including static magnetic fields, apparently, which would have had
an inhibiting effect on people trying to do MRI... Or was that another
    pile of unguided directives?
