  14. If you happen to pass by aldi, you might look if they've got one and pick
one up for me though. Nearest aldi to here is not very.

I can do that - but you do realise these things are very small, do you?
Ideal for cleaning things like small pieces of jewelry, but not a lot
    else.

  16. yeah, I reckon there's gotta be scope for enlarging it. But some of the
most difficult stuff to clean is the smallest stuff, like bits of small
    carburettors and the like.

big things are normally easy to clean.

We got one the last time around, and as soon as I find something to get
the pistons out of some calipers that I've already split (d'oh), I'll be
    trying it out on them.

I know each half-caliper won't fit completely, but I should be able to
fit more than half of the half-caliper in (IYSWIM), and swap it round
    once one end's done.

    Eddie says...
I just had the local bike shop remove 8 pistons from a set of calipers
by pumping grease through them. They were split when I took them up
because I was told they had a slide hammer with expanding collets that
they used. The slide hammer wouldn't budge them and kept slipping up the
insides of the pistons, so in went the grease. They charged me £18-15
for the labour, which I thought was bloody good value because it saved
    me destroying something.

Anyone want to buy Statto's Tokico 4-pots, will fit ZX-6R, 7R, 9R and
600/750 SRAD gixers and GSXR600 K1-K3, and also TL1000S. Basically they
have the 90mm fitment spacing. All rebuilt with new seals, perfect
pistons and looking like brand new. There's a near new set of CL SBK3
pads in there too, or a set of new EBC HHs can be fitted for another 20
quid. £100 for the calipers with CL pads, £120 with the EBCs. If you
live close by me I'll even fit them for the cost of the brake fluid.

No good to Statto since his ZX-9R is no more, and they don't fit either
    of our Daytonas.

I was going to treat myself to a slide hammer thingy, but as I've
already got a grease gun I could give it a go with that (or the
compressor)... but, how does one connect the grease gun to the caliper
    half, eh?
