    Hope Ducati aim for 200HP mark,with <180kg, really throw the cat among the

    That'd be great. Now try and make them sell it for under $20,000 AUS and
    then it will throw the cat among the pigeons. I doubt it though. I'd love
    one, but for that money I just can't justify it.

    nah...cant look like that, looks too good........after the 999 debarkle
    Ducati will make the new bike just as ugly

  5. They cannot and wont sell it cheapish,it is a premium-brand and they charge
    accordingly

    I believe [assuming it exists] it would be a MvAgusta fighter,so $35k+

    Would steal sales from the 999 series.... ?Lets wait and see the more choice
    for ther punters the better

    Why on earth would they do a thing like that? Last thing they
    want is a you or any other jap bike riders
    getting around on their machinery lessening its exclusivity. ;-)

  8. Me too,amazing how after time one can changes its opinion.

    Still,the 999 is so much simpler made and easier to work on that it is
    vastly superior [and faster] but yeah not the "classic" look of the 916...
