And no-one's thought to ask how traumatised *I* am. I'm the one who had to
sit and watch him being fondled roughly by nursie, then cart his wrecked
carcass out of hospital and back to his place while he wasn't wearing any
trousers. (jpegs and video are available)

Imagine how I'm feeling right now. ****, I can't even bear the thought of
closing my eyes and attempting sleep for fear the visual images will return
    to haunt me.

I'm getting a fucking claim in, first thing Monday morning. PTSD. [1]

You're going to have to give me a clue Dan. I can't find anything in the
header list about VFR's, the paint of such or even boy's arse's.

The boy is picking up a Cagiva Mito style rear end for his NC30 at the
    weekend, which will need painting.

The bike is metallic blue Telefonica Movistar livery, with various
    decals.

Roughly how much would it cost to have it painted to match the rest of
the bike, complete with decals etc. by your own renowned emporium of
    refinishing wizardry?

The rear bodywork basically extends from the back of the tank to the
tail lights, incorporating the seat assembly.

    TIA

We picked up the new tailpiece yesterday, it's not in bad nick, just
    one scuff.

Pictures will follow, but bike as original is here:

    What was the thread header?
Dan, are the decals available from anywhere I can contact? Honda, being
Honda, always want a chassis/frame number before they'll supply. (At least
the Honda dealer near us do)

The job won't be too expensive, but I've NO idea what the decals will cost
and I'll have to speak to the boychic about the price, coz thats his area.
    I'm just the donkey:)
I can sort that, but it'll be a **** to match if I've ONLY got the tail/seat
unit because it's metallic and I don't have an adjacent panel to blend the
colour into, so it WILL be obvious it's been painted if it's painted "edge
to edge", because it always is. Metallic/pearl and/or mica finished panels
can't be done indivdually for that reason, coz even when the paint is
"matched to sample", it still varies in colour intensity/depth and if all of
the panel needs paint, I've got nothing "extra" to work with in order to
    "lose" the variation.

An adjacent panel would be good.

    Anyway, I'll check my emails.

    It's a non standard paint job I'm afraid, so I don't reckon Honda'll be
any good. The decals are the Telefonica Movistar logo in puke green,
plus the number (45 or 15, I can't recall). I'll ask the boy to
    research where to get 'em.
The boy took some snaps yesterday so I'll email them over later if
that's okay. If we send it up, there's a small section at the back of
the original seat unit which is detachable, so we could send that too
for colour matching. Alternatively, Telefonica metallic blue could be
a standard shade, but I dunno about that.
As above, I can send off a small section of the tail piece and possibly
one of the front fairing panels. Spent yesterday evening trying to get
the cunting new bit to actually fit the bike, which eventually it did.
Looks much better than the original, so the bike should look very tasty
when finished. If the tailpiece ends up making the rest of the bike
look tatty you may end up with a tank and fairing to paint too.

    Cheers
