Good tihnkiong. the paint shouldn't be a big problem to sample match anyway.
It could be, but a lot depends on who mixes it and who's supplied the paint
    that's mixed.
The joys of ownership eh? :)

Just send me the new bit and any other painted panel (or bit thereof) and we
can take it from there. I'll try not to make it look too new. (Haha)

I think I'll be ordering a set for Adie while then. I'm about to put the
finishing touches to her 750 Turbo and I'm totally bereft of decals. Might
be an idea if I had a word with her first though. What sort of price did
they charge for a full set Champ?

Prolly best not to paint the numbers by hand, eh?

After the flaming received for posting other people's experiences,
I think we were all waiting for you to post it yourself...

The numbers are fine, it's the letters I seem to have trouble with, but only
    at 2 in the morning.

I looked at it and considered ordering them but thought you had it
sorted. I'm happy to pay for them if they're in the price range I know
    Neal would pay.

Email me some idea of cost if poss, the boy has ordered a new hard
pillion seat cover, and should be able to source the decals.

Next job is to strip the Mito seat and subframe from the VFR now it all
fits, and get the subframe a new zorst hanger welded on, shotblasted
    and powder coated.

Hi Adie. I'm just back on the puter after a day sitting in traffic, going to
hospital and generally not working, so I've not seen Champ's response yet,
but I'll contact the image works in about 6 minutes and get a set ordered.

I just checked Champ's response. Seems the decals are dirt cheap, so I'll
get them and stick 'em on before lacquering the bits.

I think at that sort or price, it'd be false economy not to get them. Cheers
    sir.
I didn't expect originals to be available these days, unles you're lucky
enough to find some good condition NOS one's and they're rearely in good
    condition anyway.

And I've just done the same thing for Adie's. 30 quid the set. Not bad at
all when you compare Honda sticker prices at 50 quid for two that say
"Fireblade" and two that say "Honda".

10 days lead time though :-(
