They're just as bad as we are for hiding behind a false name.

What are you on about, you silly man? They're Septics. Half the names
you see on there are *real*.

Well, they really should have "III Jr." after them. But apart from that,
    they're real.

Odd, but true. Muddy Cat, for example. I happen to know that he's
related to the New Hampshire Cats, if only by marriage.

All they have to do is read UKRM, they'd soon spot the crims.

I think Champ has noted before that we may have been the luckiest
generation of homo sapiens, in the West at least.

Affluent, sexually liberated, mostly pre aids, generally free of
religious fuckwittery, free healthcare, personal mobility, incredibly
fast motorbikes, unpoliced roads, cheap fuel, cheap international
travel, free speech and unfettered information on the Internet.

Almost all of those appear to be looking for a reverse gear.

  14. That was us, the generation before. All you lot have is memories of a
path beaten to a track by those who went before, a secondhand part of
what we have and guilt and debt in spades that we don't.

Or perhaps we're just the latest lot of old farts maintaining that things
    aren't what they were?

Actually, another reason we're a lucky generation: the peak of the baby
boom trundles along 10 years ahead of us constantly redefining the age we
are as the best age to be. 50 is the new black!

  20. Oh, I dunno. When the cheap energy runs out I think we'll all be up shit
creek, Baby Boomers or not. The Golden Age I refer to has and is
passing. Never before have so many ordinary people had so much so
easily, and it's all based on cheap energy.
