Because it's a huge catalogue and an excellent encoding (choice) and
download system. I can listen to any album in full before buying. I'd pay
their price for that alone but also I don't have to rake through realms of
shit.

From a Ruskie perspective it is legal. ROMS has collected the locally
entitled royalties. Western artists can sign up and collect if they so wish.

 

Saw that on the Beeb yesterday. The news article then
went on to explain that another site had already appeared
in it's place, offering the same service, and even
named it as mp3sparks.com

The bit that really made me chuckle was the external
links part to - you guessed it - mp3sparks.com
