OK, apparently my bikes got it, I know i can get it registered in my
name. However, do I need the original owner to authorise the change? Is
it easier to just get the kit for £30?

  2. I know the answer to this one having done it with the ZXR. I am a mine
of useful information on the subject.

Now I just need to decide if I'm actually in an altruistic mood as
befits the way I've been trying to act since the change of posting
name or if I think you're actually not worth the bother given your
piss poor formatting, your constant use of bad language, your
unwarranted insults to people I actually feel quite affectionate
towards (yes, it shocks me as well) and general failure to get a clue.

    And then there's the racism.

I'll let you know what I decide.

When i bought my bike with the data tag version, i just filled in a form on
their web site, sent htem some electronic money, and got a new doccument in
my name in a few days time,

The person i bought the bike off never registered the datatag thing in his
name, he rekoned as he knew the person he bought it off, if it got nicked
and they found any parts he'd get to know about them through the person he
bought the bike off, but the bits would belong to the insurance co, so he
    wasnt bothered anyway,

I just registered it in my name to save the few quid the insurance co
knocked off the premium for having it datataged and having the registration
    paperwork in my name,

Take your time and consider all the evidence before deciding, things
    like this shouldn't be rushed.

If you're not going to bother posting on those criteria, I'd
unsubscribe if I were you. It'll be quicker.
