I know a few of you are still going tonight - but is there any interest
for an alternative evening out next Friday (11/11) as well/instead?

Instead would suit me, so long as none present are among the mystery three.

You keep referring to this. AFAICS, the only mystery is that there are
    only three.

Works for me, though won't be able to drink too much, so some sort of food
type thing would go down a treat

I'm sure anyone likely to turn up for a London drinks would have had ample
chance to glass you on previous occasions if they so wished to.

Just because people may WANT to do something, doesn't mean they will ;-)

You're only just round the corner aren't you - any danger of you turning up
    to one of these things?

Not tonight there isn't - next week possibly.

That said, we should do lunch again at some point - where is your office
anyway? It's not in the old C&W building is it?

    The same.

Actually I think I saw you wandering across Red Lion Square just before
Blaney's drinks, but you disappeared into the tube and didn't show up at the
    other end ...

the "as well/instead" was relating to attendance, not the event itself.
Though I hope *someone* turns up to keep Dodger company later this
    evening...

absolutely - if I wanted to just spend the evening drinking, that can
be done easily elsewhere. For once, I'm with Ogden, though: no gook
food - eaten far too much of it recently.

Well I'm not going to be out to play tonight, so from my perspective it's
    an instead.

I'm sure Cane can arrange for *someone* to turn up to keep Dodger company
    later this evening...

I mean I'd rather not be in the company of anyone two-faced enough to
wish someone physical harm yet not have the decency to fess up in person.

If I let it trouble me that somebody I've taken the piss out of might
actually try and kick my head in, I'd never leave my flat!

Really? Blimey - in that case you're a lot closer than I realised - my
office is about two buildings down (opposite the Starbucks as opposed to the
    trade union lot)...
Had I known/remembered there were Blaney drinks I might have attended...

Tempted as it's the day after my birthday but the wife wants to go out
too so I'd have to bring her and she'll prolly say "**** that for a
game of drinking with your internet friends!"
