When I do see one (most recently on the A4 just west of the Avebury
roundabout), I consider it my duty to pull over and chat for a while,
thus depriving them of their fun.

Rarely have I seen plod look so confused as when someone pulls over by
    choice.

I suspect the real point was that I had spotted this new 30 limit, and
slowed accordingdly, but Mr Ford "Moron" Focus hadn't seen it as he'd
been concentrating on something else - probably the fact that I wasn't
breaking the 40 limit either and was therefore going too slowly for
him. He was then upset because I'd slowed him down even further, which
he saw as a deliberate act of aggression on my part. He didn't see the
30 repeater signs either, and when he finally passed me I guess his
speed peaked at 70, before reaching the line of cars ahead. He'll
learn, but I hope it isn't at any biker's expense.

  13. 1. It's not from the bible.

    2. Why? Given my background and research interests it is hardly
surprising. I just don't do it very often in usenet forums.

There's another kind of twat showing up round here. He's (not seen a
female version yet) normally found pottering around the front garden and
if he thinks you're going at 30.1 mph then he (and any optional power
tools) is out into the road trying to slow you down or **** you up some
    way.

Sometimes you may have to drop below an indicated 30. You're welcome to
try my local roads at "drop sprog at school" time or about 7pm when then
lazy cnuts park (abandon) as close to the cash-point as their fat arses
can be bothered to walk. If it isn't car doors being opened in front of
you it's myopic twats jaywalking. Mind you once they do finally spot you
it can be funny to watch them shit themselves as they hurry (read walk a
little faster) to get out of the way.
