The caption says it was sighted in Bristol, but the flag looks
    like it's from Wales.

I think it's cool, in a kind of early Industrial Revolution
kind of style (are those rivets on the rear wheel cover?)

Anyway I have a trike (project); here it is being loaded into
    a 5-ton truck:

I wonder if I could fix it up to look like something belonging
    to the Festiniog Railway.

    Or Mad Max!
I think you will find they are drive chains.
Oooerr. You have some work to do there. Is it VW beetle powered?
    That would be interesting. ;-)

One thing I could never understand is why able bodied people choose to
ride trikes. I'm all for the disabled bikers keeping on riding by
having them, but it seems to me that only shite riders would want to
pilot something they can't fall off. Why don't they just buy a
    convertible car?

You're right, that dios look like a sack of shit, a poor copy of
    Goliath as well.

it's because they're total and irredeemable wankers. As are those who
have bike modifications involving skulls, Boris Vellejo-style
airbrushing, wolves, demons, warrior princesses etc. Wankers.

Comedy sidecars are ok for winter riding or if you have a couple of
small kids to take out and want a bike too, but those twonks who ride
alone with them - let us not forget Dave Swindell - should be strung up
by the bollocks. Sidewinder folding sidecars are ok too, if only
because the idea was so utterly ludicrous.

What is this "bought" of which you speak? I picked it up on freecycle -
I wouldn't pay my hard scrounged money for a fucking sidecar.

Er... does that category include strange forms of marsupials?

Yes, there's a 1600cc dual port beetle motor in the back.

My wife can go on the back of my bike without a problem, so I don't
    think that's the reason.

Fun. Big fun. Believe it or not. Ask Bear if you like.

Can't fall off???!! Bollocks to that. Ridden 'enthusiastically', you can
keep them on two wheels (not wheelies) and occasionally no wheels at all
    (1).

    (1) in the bushes unfortunately.
