Anybody here know about XL250 Motosports? Apart from me, that is
    (obviously).

I've tried to make use of the bank holiday to get the Laverda and the
Motosport closer to being roadworthy. The Laverda is almost there, but
the XL250 electrics have me stumped. That's annoying, because I'm
usually quite good with bike electrics. Alas, part of the problem is
that someone's been at the electrics before me and that someone was
obviously well versed in Hot Rod electrics because every fucking wire he
    used was black.

The main bit that has me stumped are the electrics for the lighting
circuit. My understanding and expectation from playing with other Hondas
is that all connections from the handlebar switches go into the
headlight shell and from there into the main loom. This doesn't seem to
be the case on this Motosport as the connectors from the rhs switch
block go into the main loom. Which makes sense because Honda designed
this bike for an easy conversion to a light-less offroader and you'd
still want the kill switch connected. Unfortunately the wiring colours
on the headlight switch also don't match up with the OEM Honda wiring
diagram. Bah. Looks like I'll have to measure my way through the wiring
loom and work out what's what...

Compared to that bowl of Udon noodles the Laverda is almost ready - I
need to apply some paint protection film to the back of the tank, get
some new fibre washers for the petrol taps and then I can almost think
    about getting it MOTd.
