I quite like that bit. It looks almost like they welded the back end of
a Peugeot 407 Estate onto a Ferrari 456 front, which makes it even more
    wrong.

If I had the money to waste on a car like that, I probably would stuff
four bikes in the boot as well.

The thing is, it could have easily been quite smart looking, if it hadn't
been styled by an 8-year-old with a crayon. If they'd taken the line of the
bottom of the window straight back from the kick-up at the C-pillar, run the
roofline a little higher, shortened the tail by a few inches and inclined
the back at the same angle as the C-pillar, it would have looked fine.

Looks much more like a Porsche 924 front end to me, with a set of
cheap 5-spoke alloy wheels bolted on to it.

However - I had to check what a 924 actually looked like first (as you
do) so I had a little google and a pic of a 924 in a camo paintjob
appeared. Went for the "click for full-size image" and got:

That is easily the funniest German phrase I've seen recently. I have
no idea what "verfügbar" means, but it's just so ... so ... ukrm.
I'll ahve to find an excuse to use it, the more inappropiately the
    better, I think.

That would make a jolly nice work vehicle. Lots of room for my tools.

why "unsurprisingly"? Did Pininfarina design the 407?

    No.

PF did the 406 Coupe, but the 407 is in-house.

  11. They grafted the back end from a Chevette on.

I sit corrected. But I suppose the model inheritance is there from
    the 406 to the 407.

  17. I'd also suggest that the engine power output varied according to
whether Luigi had his torque wrench properly set at the time.

At least you wouldn't get penalised for dodgy overtakes.
