an NT death today.

I heard on the news just then about a rider pushing his
bike along a road near Palmerston (it looked like the
stuart H-way ?). A 29 Y/O in a ute rear ended him. the
driver has been arrested (probably pissed for that to
happen).

Wasn't that a couple of weeks ago? Or has the same driver done it
again?

this one happened yesterday.

a guy was pushing his 1946 enfield stirling along

rear ended him (he got arrested for drink driving).
they are still trying to identify the body.

it made front page in the NT news today.

Not wanting to diminish the serious tragedy that it is, but mate, ANYTHING
can get on the front page of the NT News!

I used to deliver the papers to Katherine/Tennat Ck/Alice (and Gove/Groote)
when I was a pilot and our only "fringe benefit" was a free copy of the NT
News. It was good for soaking up coffee spills in turbulance.....but that
was about it

Heheh. Sounds about right I knew the editor of the NT News when I lived
in Darwin - funny bloke. He has some interesting ideas on what is "news"
and what isn't. That's the only explanation I can come up with for some of
the stuff that makes the front page - a weird editor
