And I got paid for it.

  1. Following a fairly unsuccessful day trip out to site in MK on Friday I
was in the Botheth offithe today all researched up to make my plea for
them to spend a few bob on a pair of halfway decent walkie talkies for a
    return trip tomorrow.

I had barely got me gob open when she told me that if I wanted stuff I
was to just go out and buy it. "I haven't got me company Barclaycard
yet" says I, "Shall I ask Jayne for some petty cash?" "No problem" the
Both replied, "You don't need cath." and handed over her sliver of
    silver plastic for CIHAGM duties.

The radios were in stock at Maplins just down the road in Basildon but
the nearest matching headsets for hands free operation were to be got
from Lakeside, about 20 miles away by dual carriageway. 2 and a half
hours and 110 miles later I wanders back into the office wiv me new
    toys.

"You was quick," they said. With what might well have been mistaken for
an angelic grin between me ears I responded, "Well you know what it is
like on a bike, no real traffic problems."

"Don't forget to claim for your mileage" says Jayne, "While you were out
I have checked and we don't have a rate for bikes so you will have to
claim the 40p a mile car allowance."

And then as we are packing up to go home the Both said she was off to
head offith for a couple of days and would I like her to bring back any
    of the cheapo Ethpanith baccy.

So, not a bad day all told.

My pot is only half full though cos I have to be on site in MK for 9.00
tomorrow or I cannot rightfully bollock the mindless muppet who
mistakenly calls himself a professional cable installer who is the main
reason I had to go in the first place.

  3. You wanna try it on your ears when she gets excited. Hard work it is.

The temptation to do it right back at her back in me best BBC accent is
almost overwhelming and I just know I will get into trouble if I do but
I also know I am going yield to the devil's urgings to at some time.

You know you want to. If not now, when? Do what you would do if you
    weren't afraid. Etth.

  6. I know. You cannot believe how much I am aware of it.
Thoon. She will catch me unawares, relaxed or something silly like that
and it will just sort of slip out and I shall hear it go and perhaps of
all the people in these parts I am confident that you know as well as I
do that having done it I shall be committed to continue, unabashed.

I wouldn't even conthider it were I not afraid, the fear ith the thrill.

  7. No. Jayne is our resident bean counter and is English. The Both comes
from Espania, Balenthia I believe and has a strong accent which I am
told is what Catalan sounds like in The One True Language.

    Stupid boy.

Please, if you are going to play with the big boys then read something
about the rules. Usenet is a a place where you use fixed pitch fonts.
Not knowing this makes you look silly.
