    I dont know what i can say- without looking like I am trying on an
    open forum, to enter a commercial post-(i am not) but give me a ring
    at work and i will do my best to resolve (if its not already)

    Its the downside of making stuff that lasts (only joking) you get to
    see the weak part of any components!.

    Ian, don't panic - it's all resolved.
    The captive nuts have been replaced, and it's all ready to be
    reassembled.
    Cost of new fittings - around 30p. [1]
    Time to replace, around ten minutes.
    Indeed.

    [1] Not counting the cost of the rivnut gun and the 198 spare rivnuts.
