"Fitting a Hydrocharger to your car or van is like waving a magic wand -
suddenly you'll find yourself able to travel around 25% further on every
gallon of fuel - and perhaps more than that.
That's like turning the clock back to the days when fuel was 88p a
    litre!

A Hydrocharger also reduces harmful emissions by around 40%, and often
    significantly more!

Your engine will run more smoothly and quietly too.

And, far from adversely affecting on-road performance, most users notice
    a marked improvement!"

  9. Pah. If it hasn't got magnets in it, it's obviously fake rubbish.

lol, i like the bit about insurance on the questions page
"because it is totally reversible it is not considered a modification"

So if i fit a hybusa engine into my GF's chinkie scooter, and keep the old
engine, i dont need to tell my insurance co because i can put the old engine
back in anytime i want, hence it's not a modifcation.

Is that the device that makes hydrogen, and pipes it into the engine? I
wonder if you'd get problems with hydrogen embrittlement?[1]

It will make so little gas I shouldn't worry too much

I've been contemplaying this hydrogen embrittlement question for some
time. I'd like to build a hydrogen engine using alternative materials
like ceramics and carbon fibre to see if it can be done.

Nikasil or Alusil bore, ceramic coated piston crown, chrome plated rings
and titanium valves, plastic inlet tract, titanium exhaust? I know it's
a problem with steels, but don't know which non steels ok. Not done a
lot of research with it, except to avoid the pitfall of using hydrogen
in a little project on my own.

I'll have to speak to my tame hydrogen gas[1] fuelled engine expert[2]
and see what she says about it.

[1] As opposed to hydrogen fuel cell
[2] Yes, I do actually have one of these.

    A tame expert, useful.

Fuel cells are interesting, but still exotic inho. Can't see fred down
the local garage servicing one just yet. I'm more inclined to think that
internal combustion engines used with series / parallel hybrids will
overtake fuel cells. Until there's a proper leap in battery tech, and
we've got a load more nuke power stations. ;)
