A brief flurry of powder snow this Boxing Day morning followed by a
glorious blue sky and sun.

A few bottles of decent bordeaux and burgundy already despatched. An
unusual festive lunch today of Hyper-Casino's pork loin 'log' encased
in smoked salmon and cheese. Not as gross as it sounds.

Still good snow reports from Mont Dore, so probably off there for a
couple of days between now and New Year.

Belated reciprocations and felicitations to all.

I've had a few less^H^H^H^Hfewer than normal, slept much, and lost
weight. Once the weekend's over I'll start thinking about all the jobs I've
got to do before we start again next year...
