Maybe telling my boss I quit[1] wasn't the best thing to do right now.

[1] I actually used the phrase "I don't have to take this amount of
shit for the pittance you pay me". Something I've wanted to say in the
past but never did.

 

You never know. I had a bit of a blow up at my boss a while ago and we get
on far better since that than we ever did before.

 

Never a good thing to say until you've lined up something else.

 

I never go back. **** him, and the horse he rode in on.

 

Mostly, these moments pass, but sometimes it just has to come out.

 

Loz, just call it fortuitous behahiour, 'it's better to burn out than to
fade away' as some immortal **** once said.

They were, or rather one of them was. The other one was fine. The
arsehole one had 2 weeks off when his missus gave birth, and when he
was away the place ran so smoothly. He came back on Monday and it's
been absolute chaos since.
