    *Nice*.

Were many other staff around? Cos I can see that really undermining
any confidence in management that may have been there. Well played.

Unfortunately there was only one other member of staff, and he was out
on a delivery. The only other person who witnessed this was the boss'
    business partner.

*boggle* I thought people only did that in 1960s movies! Bet that
took him down a peg or two, and I wonder what the onlookers thought (I
assume such a masterful display was done in public)?

Surely you aren't advocating the "bend over and grease up" school of
    thought Des?

Not at all. I'm one of those old-fashioned cunts who believe in 'equal
treatment'. If I'd thrown a hissy fit like Loz (and recounted it here),
I'd have been fuckin' crucified for it.

I get up at five every morning, 'cos I have classes all week at eight
and nine o'clock, and so my 'biological clock' won't let me sleep any
later. And the grade averages have to be in by tomorrow, and every
year, I'm late, and every year I get roasted for it. So this year, I'm
trying to get it done on time.

One question in a test .. you give 'em 'he met' and ask them to give the
infinitive. 80 of them wrote, 'to meat'. *chuckle* Should I tell
    them..?

Heh. **** em. You've got transferable skills, even during this
    shitstorm of a job market.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I hated my last place, complete with the
    grey hairs and chest pains.

Paid well though, relatively speaking :)
