I know it's March, but when in March?

That may or may not be do-able. I've got to be in Sheffield for 16.00
and I was going by train.

It's the weeks worth of stuff/luggage on the back that could prove a bit
    of a pest.

Er.. the forecast is still for 'interesting' weather - why not delay it
    until the 13th?

Where's the KOTL when we need him...

Yeah, it's not looking stunning, is it?
Aye, come on, someone make a decision here.

if it influences your decision either way, I can't make the 6th.

There you go. The 13th it is then.

    Assuming it's not still snowing.

I'm fairly keen for a couple of decent runs before doing a trackday at
the end of March. I've not got a replacement lock-set and clutch lever
for the 7R - hopefully get them fitted in time, otherwise the 'blade
    needs a de-cobwebbing.
    well, indeed.

Are you definitely doing this one then - 31st March?

I've just realised Easter is the week before this, rather than starting just
    after.

I was considering taking the day off and coming to watch, thus making it a
    nice extra long weekend.

But it's not, so I might reconsider.

well, definitely as in, as long as I get the 7R fixed - I'll probably
leave it until the start of that week to book (or maybe the end of the
week before), to check the weather. If there are no places, then I'll
    look for somewhere else.

Well it's obvious, innit... you leave the country, BOTAFOT life as we know
    it, disintegrates.

    So it's all your fault...

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I see absoutely no point, or
pleasure, in increasing the chances of binning what is a rather expensive
item just for the sake of 'biker solidarity'.

    Rain, I don't mind.

Ice - forget it. What's the point?

    Cold - see above.

    dwb says...
It's not the chance of binning it that bothers me, I just don't
enjoy riding in poor weather. I ride a bike for fun, sometimes it's
more convenient that the car, but the bike primarily a fun thing.

Cold, wet, ice fuckit. I want dry, warm and sunny.

I can quite enjoy riding in the rain, actually, but I can't abide
    being cold.

well, I ride for fun and some commuting.
Commuting I'll do pretty-much regardless of weather. I've done a few
"fun" runs in foul weather, and they're rubbish.

It was talked about *ages* ago whether to move the AnniFOT to June
or something, when its a little more likely to be warm & sunny, but
    diehard fotters objected.
