    You might be better asking a midwife that question.

    In clarification, I was really referring to the denouement, rather than
    the breeding per se.

    For one thing, Mrs Ben might have engaged in activities during pregnancy
    that could have resulted in a baby in less than perfect health.

    When SWMBO was expecting we went on an NCT course. There are various
    strategies that can be followed to assist the process, including
    supportive techniques from dad (rather than just pacing up and down the
    corridor IYSWIM).
