Given how difficult the birth was towards the end, she did do well.
But I know what you mean. I'm finding it odd, that I'm being told
I've done well. I think I'd rather someone told me that in 30 years
time when he turns out to be a half-decent person. Then I'll have done
    my bit well.

But I really appreciate everyone's messages.

Touch wood, he's being really good so far. Sleeping pretty much all
the time, in fact he needs to be woken up to be fed. I'm hoping this
    continues.

10 days late. She obviously wasn't trying had enough. I'll whip her
    a bit more.
    Thanks.

Oh good, I'm glad you didn't take offence.
Aye, that's a different matter, and why your real work has only just
    begun.
Best of luck to you all, then :)

Nah, he's a proper Northerner. Has a load to drink, farts, and falls
    asleep.

It's been hard work, a lot more for Anya than me, but he's been great.

  11. Well done that Mum. What bike are you going to get him?

Cool, so 2027, if you're lucky he'll be getting the beers in.
    Congratulation all.

    Great news mate, good show.

All this talk of sleepless nights is bollocks. Use my strategy. Baby must
sleep in another room. As Mrs is off work she does all the getting up. Mr
    slumbers like, well, a baby.

  17. Only works until Mrs goes back to work. At which point our monster still
isn't sleeping through (11 months and counting). Current strategy is
separate rooms but swap beds halfway through the night.

Eating, sleeping and shitting. That's about it.
He's the exact opposite. He was the only one out of the maternity
ward who was asleep for the whole day afterwards, and he's been like
that since. He has to be woken up to be fed. I think we're pretty
    fucking lucky.

Apparently they're a much better way of learning to ride a bike. The
pushing along then coasting is supposed to just come naturally, and
they coast for longer and longer. They learn how to use the brakes or
their feet. Then when you stick them on something with pedals, they
can already balance so just take to it immediately.
