how it reflected on the tower industry.

It's also a bit freaky in the lift when it's set to full speed on the way
down.

Did you get to see the window cleaners doing 34 and 33? Marvellous view
but I think inside looking out is better.

 

Can't recall which floor I was on. I was there to recover an AMPS BTS
which was used in a trial before the TACS licences were granted in
this country. It was pretty high up. I did go to the restaurant
sometime before as a sprog with my Father before the paddies bombed it
into closure.

 

I did some bits and bobs at the top.

It is good, I have a vague recollection of their being topless
sunbathing taking place on an adjacent but lower building but it may
well be my dodgy memory.

 

The adjacent buildings are so far below you can't see.

 

A mate used to live in one of the Barbican towers. The view from his
balcony was pretty special too.

I did a wiring job at Reuters in the late seventies and one of the small
perks was use of the canteen on the top floor. One lunchtime it began to
dawn on 'our' table that there was a gradual shift of diners to the window
side of the room. The woman sunbathing nude on an adjacent rooftop may have
had something to do with it.
