Unless the rope has an Aus Standards label for such use.

But yeah, whatever gets you home in one piece.

I agree with pretty much everything you said Doug, but I don't have
any double adaptors in my house either, or in my workplace.

In an ideal world it would be "the best way and the safest way and the
legal way" but until courts cease giving huge payouts for things that
are mostly peoples own fault it will remain "don't sue us" that gets all
    the time.

I blame the court system... the OH&S inspectors are just a symptom not
    the cause.

  5. Sometimes it works both ways.

Heard of an OH&S inspector being stopped by police for some menial bullshit
    traffic issue.

He lets him proceed, write down and complete the booking.

Then (he didn't let the officer at the time know he was OH&S), he pulls out
HIS book and books the officer for not wearing a visibility vest under
conditions requiring him to do so.

It don't get much more stupider than that.

I actually don't agree with you today.

I think most of the bogus sounding cases that make the news are a case
of the reporters being asses, rather than the courts being asses
(politicians on the other hand -- their jobs depend on them being
arses, because most people (ie, voters) are arses).

Read up on the McDonalds coffee case someday. The woman who sued
McDonalds wansn't an ass. Nor was her lawyer. But the media
certainly were. And so were the big Yellow Arches.

I deal on a regular basis with a couple of mature reporters ( being
women is not the point however) , personally to me it appears they both
walk around somehow with their heads hidden up their own arses and nary
a clue bout the realities .

I was going to buy some dog shampoo but the bottle said "Not tested on
animals", so I didn't risk it.

  9. Well I don't *know* why either but I wonder whether it has anything to
do with spoke wheels and tubed tyres? The product literature does say
that it is only to be used on tubelss tyres. The latex skin the product
forms only gets distributed to the outside of the inside of the tyre
because of centripetal force, and in an uninflated or partially inflated
tube, it wouldn't get distributed at all.

Main reason is the tyre shape abut the other is it pools when sitting so
throwing a wheel beyond tolerance for riding

  11. Now theres a story

On the outside of the inside

if it was outside of the inside, then it would be outside

..If it is inside, then it is inside
if it is outside, then it is outside

    .....................of everything

    Centripetal force

    Rose petal force
    or bicycle petal force ??
You obviously haven't used one of these products before
When it is injected into the INSIDE of the tyre
it is injected with compressed air, which is INSIDE the can
    Not on the outside
So, when you inject the solution into the INSIDE of the tyre with COMPRESSED
AIR, then you will have an inflated tyre

The only time I used it was in a tubed tyre, and it seemed to work
quite well in sealing the leak and I felt nothing out of balance.

Only city speeds, but then the product instructions said to go slow.

Outside of a dog, man's best friend is a good book.

Inside of a dog, it's very dark and warm.

Correction: "Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

*DO* learn to quote correctly. And an attribution to the author
(Graucho Marx), might also have been in order.

6/10. Gerry tries hard but his spelling leaves a lot to be desired.
Occasionally suffering from premature elaboration he will have to work
    more carefully next term.
