    email last night:

    It is with deep sadness that I pass on,as requested, the following
    information.
    Rod McCullock, the President of the Tamer Tourers, was killed Sunday
    22 January in a single vehicle accident on the Poatina Hill. Rod was
    returning home after leading an overnight ride to Port Arthur with
    members of the Tamer Tourers.Rod had been a member of the Ulysses Club
    for 4 years and had taken over the role of Branch President just prior
    to Christmas.
    Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
