Nissan Almira Tino. I will play with the seats to see if they all go
    flat.

True, and I doubt I'll be able to find HP source over there.

30th, eh? That sounds slightly more likely in the affordability stakes.

    Who's it with?

Not tried them - but I'm not too bothered by that.

    I'll probably go for beginners.

Tents are far better than cars for a decent nights sleep.

    So it's a toss up between a tent or a B&B.

B&B if it's within 1/2 mile otherwise a tent would win every time.

B&B is 6 miles away. I've booked and presented payment for it. I've
    either got to arrange:

    1) A non pissed ride/drive to it
    2) Taxi
    3) Falling asleep in car

It was very cold in the back of my van at the first Snetterton but then
not drinking Nigel's Hobgoblin and remembering to close the sliding door
    may have helped.

It's that time of year again folks.

Yes, EOSM 2005 is just around the corner and in my glorious position
    as
DFV I cordially invite the assembled masses of the great unwashed to
join me in lovely Derbyshire for more fun and adventures.

For those of you who've never enjoyed ukrm at it's very worst behaved,
then this is what it's all about.

On September 17th a scruffy throng will turn up in dribs and drabs at
    a
pub in Hulland Ward, we will show off our new tents or boast about how
we managed to score a room at the pub, or a bed and breakfast place.
Some of us will get drunk before our tents are erected, others will do
it while still sober and others will sleep in, on, or under cars in
    the
spacious car park despite having just lashed out 100 quid on Kayam's
latest offering to the seasoned camper. The more sensible will retire
to their rooms to unpack their hairdryers, shower gel and party packs
of condoms which won't get used.

Drink will be consumed over the afternoon and evening, lots and lots
    of
it. We will talk more bollocks, insult one another as only ukrm can,
eat the very finest of food provided at minimal cost by our fine hosts
Mike and Mu, then we will drink lots more before the management will
tell us to piss off outside. Once we have laid seige to Dodger's
    Point,
even more bollocks will be talked before some of the males start to
make moves on the most unlikeliest of the women present. At various
points during the night nudity may become an (un)welcome[1] theme
amongst the more liberal minded of the attendees. I shall hopefully be
in Room 1[2] by this time, well out of earshot of the snorers.

On Sunday morning those who made the most of sampling Mikes well kept
and stocked beer cellar will be nursing what are commonly know as
hangovers. One simple cure for this is a good traditional cooked
breakfast, which is also laid on in fine style by the lovely Mu.
Another Sunday tradition is ukrm's famous CIHAGM fest, which is where
some hapless souls offer their steeds for test rides by those who like
doing that sort of thing. Don't be surprised to read a scathing review
of your pride and joy in the following week, but just remeber they had
a hangover and as such know **** all anyway. Oh, nudity sometimes
features in the CIHAGM fest too. After the test rides have finished
people start to drift homewards to wherever they came from.

That's about it. It all sounds pretty grim, and believe me it is.

If you intend to come along and have dinner and/or breakfast, then
please email me at so I can inform Mu how many
will require feeding. Those who have already replied need not do so
again. Free camping is available on site. We've never run out of tent
space in the past, so come along.

Lets see some more of you newbies and lurkers there this time OK?

Date: September 17th and 18th 2005. Arrive any time on Saturday.

    Venue:

    The Black Horse Inn,
    Hulland Ward,
    Derbyshire.
    DE6 3EE

    Phone: 01335 370206

    Streetmap url : http://tinyurl.com/8oyo

DON'T FUCKING FORGET: email me at if you're
coming along, with what days you'll be wanting breakfast and dinner.

    Hope to see you there.
