  1. Hi all

Can you tell me if there is any motorbike show (modern bikes) somewhere
not very far from Bristol (1-1.5h by train) soon ?

    Cheers

    he hasn't posted for years.

He did turn up at the start of a BOTAFOF run a couple of years back,
just to say hello, but I've had no contact with him since then.

This was a polish fella, name of Tetnowski.
I don't know of any bike show in the South West at any point of the
    year.

The next big shows will be the NEC bike show and the Dirt bike show,
both in Q4, in the midlands.

    she certainly fucking was, actually.

I still remember the site of her leather-clad arse perched on the back
of Pawel's R6 on the last TOG tour I did.

Not a show as such, but plenty of bikes to look at this weekend in
Plymouth with the annual charity "mega-ride". They'll be on the Hoe
around lunchtime or something. Get the train from Temple Mead to
Plymouth, and a short 15 minute walk to the Hoe will see you there.

I thought maybe he wanted to check out new machines with a view to a
    purchase.
It could be that he's a street hawker with a bag full of Oxford Disc
Locks or just a pickpocket or bike thief ;o)

  12. Oh, seeing your posting reminds me - got my CC statement yesterday and
they've credited me with your £30 so I'll bung off a cheque.

I did wonder that, but don't most people go to bike shops for that?
I also considered the latter, in which case the Aquila boys will give him
    a more than warm reception.

  16. I saw him a while back driving on campus in a car with Reg. P4WEL
but I can't finger him on the central computer and his name's not in the
campus telephone directory, so I guess he graduated and left. He _is_ in the
latest School contact list I have, but that's from January last year...

Jees, we have lost him to the dark side.

    Imagine the shame ...

Actually, own up, who has a personalised reg on the group ?

Dodgy ones, like Robbo's (initials on a normal plate) don't count ;-)

I had "H 1000 V" (H10 OOV) on my Firestorm and I bought Jane, my ex-
girlfriend, "J4NY G" for her birthday. I chose to keep the Norn Irish
plate on the Gixer when I 'imported' it from Belfast
