Through favours and being owed a few quid I have somehow ended up in
possession a rather nice, nigh brand new, silent diesel generator. Has
the capability of squirting out 110/240 volts at the non to meager rate
of 8.5Kva (8Kw in old money).

    Electric start and all.

If anybody is interested in here before I look at other ways of disposal
    drop me a line:

    Oh it's red BTW.

My first post using Gravity, so I hope it makes it up intelligibly!

Nope, got one here by the shed.

You're thinking sand blaster, aren't you? Solved that problem last Thursday by
    buying a new BMX.

  5. Hah. Have taken advice and bought a couple of re-furb APC UPSs which
should hopefully stop the media and computing PCs being switched on and
    off with the mains failings.

Unfortunately the media centre PCs just spat the dummy and corrupted
some file or other. Rebuilding it now which is a royal pain in the arse
but since it had been running just about non-stop without any real
    problems for 3 + years I suppose I shouldn't complain.

    Oh yes please. Me too.

Good old pint of Moreland Chicken Water!

Given up on that gravity piece of shit.

SO I'll just continue to be annoying (again) until I find something that
    Works!!!

It was me that posted recently about running a Genny on veg/nut oil.
So yes I might well be interested if it isn't too large to sea freight to
    the Pacific.

I'm sure though unexpected things can be expensive. Depends on how much the
    OP wants.
