  4. So, is it 'Operation Shergold', then? I think he's got this apology lark
ever-so slightly back-to-front, like just about everything else in life
    including his underpants.

It's your last chance, Tone [1]. Come clean [2], say sorry and promise that
you'll **** off forever or you really will *not* believe what happens next.

    [1] All of you
[2] You know what I mean.

Not started yet, beyond the conceptual level.
well, he wants me to say sorry for posting an address on Usenet, that I
found on a publicly available non-login webpage. I asked him to explain
what he thought was wrong with my doing that, but predictably he was
    unable to do so..
    it is Christmas after all.

Send it to me. I'm working on a mass SMS gateway at the moment and I could
do with some extra mobile phone numbers for testing

I did Google for "Operation Shergold" and nothing came forth except for
the hallowed word in this thread but I have no doubt it means something
    good.

I misread this as "Operation Shergar". Now there's a thought.

  13. Young master Shergold's first name was - and indeed remains - Craig, if
that's any help. I think you'll get the general idea.

Oh. How interesting. I should know better than to read any of these
    stupid Tone-bashing threads really.
