    Fellas and Fellinis

I'm trying to find one to buy, they dont pop up all that often. Its either
    that or a RG/RD/RZ/TZR 250.

Anyway, if your mate is selling one, or you have any info to share, i'd be
    more than happy to listen.

    Cheers,
    Derek

Got a good KR1 but it'd take a good offer to sell it.

I agree, i'm thinking something like $2000 is a good price for one in good
nick. (before bargaining commences, of course).

Whats the deal with the "wrecking only" bikes? Are they just out of
RWCondition and require some work so dealers cant advertise them as full
bikes? Or do they make more money from selling parts alone?

    thanks :)

    Cheers,

Without knowing anything else about the (your) bike i'll start you at
$1800, and wouldnt go too much higher than that.

In most states, there's a concept of "statutory write off" where a bike
is deemed too damaged to be safely repaired. You can't register that
bike again - the VIN is noted in the registration database.

Most of the time that's what wrecking only means. You'd have to ring
the wrecker in question to see if that's what they mean by it.

I thought that might have been the case, but the pictures of these bikes
i've been looking at seem to be in top notch (unless theres huge damage on
    the other side).

The red/white/black and limegreen/white/black are factory colours. Yellow is non
    stock.

It's in perfect nick and fully original. Hence the comment it'd take a good
offer to get me to part with it. Like any old vehicle a crap clapped out one is
worth bugger all but one that's fully restored has had a fair bit of money
thrown at it, so it's not really worthwhile to part with it for the same money
    as a clapped out one...

Something is only worth what someone will pay for it, but then it's also worth
what it takes to get someone to part with it.......
