Anyone near Amesbury ?

The lad would like to try a few hill climbs next season. We decided that
buying a big wheel 85 would be cheaper than converting his small wheel
YZ (already sold), so I have been looking out for one. I've already
snapped up some Talon supermoto wheels and sticky tyres for it.

This one has come up in Amesbury.

Anyone able to cast an eye over it - Krusty?

He learned to ride a unicycle at the Shrewsbury folk festival the other
week and now has a cheapo one to keep up the skills. We'll be taking it
to Wiscombe this weekend to keep him amused.

I won't have time this week I'm afraid (it's a good hour from here).
It's a shame Bee's gone on her travels as she's much closer. Lozzo
might be worth a try, I believe he's got/had family in that neck of the
    woods.

    Looks nice.

But I don't understand sellers like that. If it's 99% perfect, and
the only thing is the tank stickers are peeling and need a little glue
to sort out, why doesn't he sort them out?

No problem. As Ben says, it looks really nice and may go for more than
I want to pay anyway. No shortage of YZ85s out there.

The same was happening on the small wheel version the lad had. The
after market sticker sets don't seem to stay well attached for long if
    ridden much.

May be a bit too nice for my budget anyway. Depends on what i might be
able to get for the Nordwests ;-)

We are hoping it will hone his sense of balance. I remember many years
ago someone brought one to a Loton Park meeting and evryone had a go.
It was noticeable that the fatstest riders got to grips with it best.
True. Unless employed as a trick cyclist.

It's an easy mistake to make.

Just so you know in future: I'm the good-looking one.

Hmmm... that was a *long* time ago, wasn't it?
You might be right, these days. I'm sure my brain's turning to mush.

I don't know any bike savvy people in that area

Didn't met the reserve but sold anyway. Got my eye on YZ85s[1] in Havant
    and Buxton now.

[1] To match the Talon/Excel I've already acquired, plus having had one
before and worked on the faux WR250Z in France I prefer to stick with
    Yamaha.
