That could pick up an ebay item if I won it, I could collect in a week
    or so?

That would be great, thanks. He's asking for pickup within three days,
auction finishes in just over 24h, so let's see.

Surely one should find out what it is before volunteering for such
things? It could be a 40' lorry body, or several thousand back issues
of Big Boy magazine for all you know.

Haha - it's just some engine crash bars. For a motorcycle even.

Don't let Champ collect them, he might use them!

And me. I drive/ride past Stonehouse (M5 J13 to be exact) every day. Just
bear in mind (eeuw) that I'm on holiday last week in July/1st in Aug.

    Rusted and ropy.
    Dog-eared old copy.
    Vintage and classic,
    or just plain Jurassic:
    all words to describe me.

2004 was my last one, as far as I remember.

You've had a bang on the head, you know.

Hold on just a cotton-pickin' minute: when was the "new front tyre meets
roundabout" incident? Hmmm? And was the "dropping the Gixxer Thou on a
rough track" incident before or after that?

****. Me. Where do the years go? I was staggered recently when I
realised I bought the MV 7 years ago this month. I still think of it as
    a new bike!

    2004, *after* my crash.
Still: more crashey than me, no matter how you cut it.

I've got a very good memory (and powerful Google mojo).
You're probably right. I really need a track day.

Excellent stuff. I wish I had time to do some.
Sounds like a good idea. However: our weekends are just about fully
booked until the middle of September, but if you can wait until then...

Perhaps we can drag along Paul, and my climbing partner who thinks he
    may be stout...

Last time I climbed in the peaks was with Elly (oo err) who, TBF is
more easy on the eye than you.
Sure, name the time and the place.

    Cheers,

    Paul.

<narrows eyes> I hope you two bastards aren't referring to my spare
    tyre.

I'm much sveldter than I was a couple of months back

Or are we referring to AndrewR.

    Confused I am.

    Just because you're paranoid...
    Sure you are.
We might be, but if the cap fits...
    Situation normal, then.
