Anyone ridden a Piaggio Zip

Got the 2009 model and can't seem to find a way to switch off the
headlight, there only appears to be a switch between high beam and low
beam, can you turn the light off on this model seems a bit strange if it
stays on all the time, it gets brighter as you rev it.

 

Are you a fucking mong?

 

Have you tried smashing it in with a hammer?

all motorcycles/scooters sold in Europe have been the same since about
2005, possibly earlier. EU regs (you may not live in the EU but Piaggio is
not going to make a special bike just for the 3 people in Jersey that buy a
Zip)

 

It's probably because they changed from a 4-stroke to a 2-stroke engine
for 2009.
Everyone knows that you can't turn off the lights on a 2-stroke.

 

Mandatory EU "safety feature", innit. This is the one where if the
bulb blows, the engine stops, right?

 

Most modern stuff is permanently wired for lights on nowadays

Leaving the light on all the time helps keep you visible

ah right thanks did not know that and I suspect there are more then 3
people who will buy a Piaggio Zip this year, there seems to be one
stationary at almost every bike stop I walk past.

 

Actually that's not funny, schizophrenia is never funny to those who suffer
from it.... I can't help it if I become ill and fixated on somebody, this is
what causes the thought disorder... its like having constant voiced thoughts
in your head and it makes go crazy.

 

I know. The place is littered with broken-down ones.
