Anyone ridden/owned a Ducati Sport Classic?

  1. Wassit like? I have an unhealthy urge to own one after watching the new
    Tron movie.

Heh. My hairdresser pal bought one and I had a ride on it. I certainly
wouldn't buy one and he realised the error of his ways, took it back and got
something completely different. Could've been a Fat Boy or a Beemer 1200GS
but both (he has had both) were more comfortable.

The Duc was probably THE most uncomfortable bike I've ever ridden, from a
wrist, shoulders, neck and knees POV. Looks nice though.

I wouldn't care if it came with Olivia Wilde on the back...

And she's related to the Cockburns, and through them, to Stephanie
    Flanders.

Who's father is (was) Michael Flanders, as in Flanders & Swann.

Looks rather like Lena Headey, who is definitely on the "have her washed
and sent to my room" list

You would when you realised that you couldn't do anything with her because
of *your* back after riding one of them for any length of time :)

Get the bar-risers fitted and it's a brilliant bike, otherwise
you'll soon be very friendly with your osteopath.

Personally, I prefer the Ducati Supersport 750

you've been doing that a lot recently - are you channeling Leslie

    [1] it'd suit you[2].

  15. It can't be worse than my Daytona 675. The only bike I have ever owned
that hurt my wrists in less than 5 minutes.

Ride it faster then, you big fucking poofter. If you hoon the **** out
of any bike you don't feel the pain through the adrenaline rush

  17. I tried but after the third near death experience through a red light[1]
I thought I would chop it in for something more sensible[2].

+1. If you ride it a bit faster there is no pain anyway.

It doesn't look any worse than a 1970's Ducati with clip-ons and they
    were quite comfortable.
