Anyone tried to cancel a motorrad policy recently . . . . .

    .. . . . and haven't had a refund yet ?

    If so, it's because the dozy sods cancelled my insurance instead.

    Got home today to a cheerful letter, dated the 10th, informing me that
    "Further to your recent request to cancel the above policy, we confirm
    having completed your instructions"

    Don'cha just love that sort of British incompetence. I got a very
    snooty letter from British Gas this morning complaining that I haven't paid
    £47-odd and if I didn't do so immediately I Would Be In Trouble©! Well, if
    I never got the invoice of course I never paid it -- whatever happened to
    "Terms 30 days nett" anyway; this dunning after a week is pathetic.
